Location & schedule
Our wedding will be in Leeds city centre. The ceremony and reception venues are a 5 minute walk from each other. The wedding will start at Leeds Civic Hall for the ceremony. Please arrive via the main entrance (on Millennium Square) by 3:45pm. Following the ceremony we will go to The Leeds Club for the wedding reception.
Leeds Civic Hall
Located on Millenium Square, this iconic Leeds building was opened by King George V in 1933. View map.
The Leeds Club
Formerly a private members' club, built in 1820. This stunning venue will host our wedding reception. View map.
Suggested hotels
We're recommending two hotels: The Malmaison and DoubleTree by Hilton. Both hotels are a 10 minute walk from the ceremony venue and a 5 minute walk from the reception venue. The wedding party are staying at The Malmaison but space is very limited so be quick if you want to stay there. We have secured a promotional B&B rate at DoubleTree of £109 (single occupancy), £119 (double occupancy) for the Saturday night. For both Friday & Saturday £198 (single occupancy), £218 (double occupancy). Quote ref 'AGRAA' and call 0113 2411005.
Children
We'd have loved to extend the invite to your children but unfortunately our reception venue has limited seating space for the meal. Hopefully you'll see this as an opportunity to book a sitter, get your glad rags on and let your hair down!
Wedding gifts
The greatest gift you could give us is your lovely company at our big day! However, if you would like to give us a gift, then a contribution to our honeymoney would be gratefully accepted.
RSVP & menu choice
Please RSVP online by Friday 19th August. You will also need to select your starter & main course choice for the wedding breakfast. Please take a moment to let us know any songs that will get you on the dancefloor!
Wedding photos app
We've set-up the WedPics app to share photos and exchange comments so please download the app (iPhone, Android) to your smartphone. Our wedding code is: NEILANDJIMMY. Please post any old photos you have of us as well as your snaps from the wedding. Anything too embarassing will be deleted! 😉 You can also browse the photos online.
Restaurant recommendations
If you're in Leeds on the Friday before the wedding and you're looking for somewhere yummy for dinner, you could always try: 'Chez Mal Brasserie' at Malmaison (delicious & local ingredients), 'Livin Italy' (delicious pizza, very italian!), 'Roast & Conch' (Hotel Chocolat restaurant), 'Restaurant Bar & Grill' (swanky dining in the Old Post Office) or 'Harvey Nichols' (our favourite!). For pubs check out: 'The Adelphi', 'The Tetley' or 'Lamb & Flag'.
An informal goodbye
On Sunday come and nurse your hangovers with us at the The Adelphi pub. We'll have a dedicated space from 11am - 2pm. It would be great to have a bloody mary, pint or lunch with you before you head home!
